CC Switch for Codex desktop setup

Codex Desktop and Codex CLI share the same Codex configuration. Start with CC Switch to complete the CCS setup, then open Codex Desktop instead of maintaining endpoint and token settings twice.

Install the OpenAI Image API skill

To generate or edit images in Codex Desktop, download the image skill first.

• Download the image skillDownload the complete archive and give it to Codex Desktop to install.

After downloading, drag the archive into a Codex Desktop conversation and ask Codex to install it. When installation is complete, send an image generation or editing request directly in Codex Desktop.

First image request

First open Token Management in Qiuqiu Token and create a Visual token-group API key with image-generation access. When you send your first image request without a usable visual credential, Codex asks for permission to save it. Choose “Save and use for this and future image tasks” (recommended), then enter the key once; it is saved locally and reused automatically in new conversations. “Use only this time” is for temporary testing and requires the key again later. Your Codex login credential cannot replace a Visual token-group API key.

Enter the key only in a Codex conversation you trust, and do not put it in documentation or a code repository.
